Warwick Forest Assisted Living Community co-hosted a "Salute to Veterans" with Walter Pollard Council 5480 of Newport News on 11 November 2009.
This event was hosted by Warick Forest and Walter Pollard Council provided the program to honor our veterans. Tab Naval Junior ROTC presented the Colors and Diana Abrams from Warick Forest welcomed the guest. PFDN Bill Crowley was Master of Ceremony, presenting/introducing guest speaks and presenting a special salute to the different serevices. PGK Chuck Olson presented a reading called " A Veteran's Thank You". Marcea Bowman was the pianist for the singing of the National Anthem and God Bless America. PFN Tony Merendino provided the music for the different Service Hymns.
