The tradition of May devotions is observed around the world this month. At St Jerome Catholic Church, Council 5480 with the Catholic Daughters took time in May to focus on Mary, the greatest of saints, and celebrate her position as the prime example of holiness and trust in God.

The Knights from Council 5480 carried a statue of our Lady from the church in a procession to the church grounds where the rosary was to be recited. The parishioners of St Jerome’s executed a human rosary chain on the church grounds and individuals of the parish, both young and old, recited the decades of the rosary in different languages.  (Photos courtesy of Sir Knight Carroll Kelley.)
