February 2010 Family of the Month

This family has been so active at their church, the council and community, one would wonder, how do they do all that? At St. Jerome, she is a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, serves on different ministries, a long time volunteer at Mary Immaculate Hospital. On the other hand, he is a lecturer at St. Jerome, an Aqua Aerobics instructor for senior citizens, this Brother is the Treasurer of the council, deejays for many events at council, keeps an eye for the well-being of the members and families, keeps track of older members.

Together, this family serves as editors of the newsletter, organizes field trips, including the Arlington National Cemetery, WWII Memorial Museum, the K of C museum, plus other leisure trips such as the Colonial Downs, Atlantic City, etc... When asked, this family is always ready to lend a hand whenever they are able to. This family is such a great, valuable resource of the council. For their dedication and selfless service, it is with great pleasure to announce the February Family of the Month is the family of Past Faithful Navigator Tony Merendino and his wife Terri.
